Will my homeowners insurance pay for a new roof?

If your roof was damaged by hail, wind, or a fallen tree, most homeowners policies cover repair or full replacement, minus your deductible. The key is documenting the damage properly and filing within your policy’s time window. We inspect, photograph, and document everything, then help you open the claim and meet your adjuster on the roof so nothing gets missed.

How do I know if my roof has hail or wind damage?

Often you can’t tell from the ground. Look for shingles in the yard, dented gutters or flashing, granules collecting in downspouts, or water stains after a storm. Hail bruising is usually invisible from below – that’s why we offer free inspections with photo documentation, so you know exactly where you stand.

Do you handle the insurance claim for me?

Yes. We inspect and document the damage, help you file the claim, meet your insurance adjuster on the roof to walk the scope, review the estimate to make sure nothing was missed, and then complete the restoration. From inspection to final nail, you have one point of contact.

What will I pay out of pocket?

On an approved claim, your out-of-pocket cost is typically just your policy deductible. Virginia and West Virginia law require homeowners to pay their deductible, and any contractor offering to waive it is breaking the law – a useful red flag when comparing companies. We also offer financing to make the deductible manageable.

How long does a roof replacement take?

Most residential roof replacements are completed in one to two days once materials arrive. The full insurance process – inspection, claim approval, scheduling – typically takes a few weeks, and we keep you informed at each step.

How fast can you respond after a storm?

We offer 24/7 emergency response, including tarping to stop active leaks, and we schedule inspections across the Shenandoah Valley and West Virginia panhandle within days, not weeks.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. We hold Class A contractor licenses in both Virginia (2705183113) and West Virginia (WV064416), and we are fully insured.

What roofing materials do you install?

Architectural shingle, standing-seam metal, and traditional copper roofing, plus seamless gutters, stonework, and full exterior work.

Do you offer financing?

Yes – flexible payment plans are available, so a needed roof never has to wait on cash flow.

What areas do you serve?

We serve the Shenandoah Valley – Front Royal, Winchester, Strasburg, Woodstock, Luray, Harrisonburg, and Staunton – plus the West Virginia panhandle including Martinsburg, Charles Town, Berkeley Springs, and Romney.
